DALY DELIVERS FOR COUGARS UNDER13’S BLUES

Cougars Under13’s Blues continued their free scoring run of matches with a comfortable home victory over Bishop Stortford Swifts. The hosts had to restructure before the game as goalkeeper Callum Nye went sick four minutes before kick off. Despite the changes Cougars nerves were settled as ealy as the second minute when the in-form Charlie Fountain slotted home after a good move. Fountain secured his hat trick before half time to compliment goals from Jack Lally that put Buntingford goals up.

In the second half a dominant display from Sam Daly in the midfield was topped off with the diminutive dynamo delivering a long range shot that dipped under the bar for his first goal of the season. Fountain added more strikes too to conclude a comfortable encounter for Cougars that puts them second in the table.

After the match Cougars Boss Richard Daly said “We are playing really well at the moment and we have to credit these young men for that. Some of our goals were breathtaking counter attacks which is becoming a great feature of our game.”
