The squad finished the season on a high having come second in Division 2 and earning promotion to Division 1. Darren said, “I’m really proud of the boys, the way they battled through the season showed great determination, they only conceded a handful of goals at home and scored some crackers.  It’s been a pleasure to watch. I used to play for Cougars as a boy, we even won the 5 a-side tournament in 1980.  It’s given me even greater pleasure to see this team, which I’ve managed since they were u7’s win the five a-side at both u9’s and u10’s. Up the Cougars”
