Cougars roar against Melbourn Tigers

Cougars travelled to Melbourn Tigers on Sunday and came out 6 – 2 winners to go top of the league. Cougars started the brighter and from a fine run down the right wing by Will Thorp finished with a great strike to go one up, Cougars kept the pressure on but could not get by the Melbourn keeper until the end of the first half when Sam Rice finished well from close range. Cougars were on top for most of the second half and soon added to the scoring from Myles Radwell, Cougars kept going hard but Melbourn pulled one back, but Cougars were not finished with hitting the back of the net. Sam Rice added to his total with one more and the scoring was finished off with two well taken goals from George Woods after Melbourn had got their second. Cougars ran out winners 6 –2.
