Girl’s football has seen a huge growth in recent years aided by the successes of England’s Lionesses. Buntingford Cougars has always had lots of girls playing within the setup of our mixed teams across a range of different age groups but the club has ambitions to do much more. 
For the 2025/26 season we now have squads at U10s, U11s, U13s and U14s; we would like to expand the number of girls teams we have even more in the coming years – if you have interest in helping, particularly coaching, please reach out.
If you’re interested in joining Cougars, please get in touch with us! We’d love to have you be a part of the club either within a mixed team setting or within a dedicated girls team when we start to get enough players at an individual age group. 
Our girls teams sometimes enter the Herts Girls Partnership league where age groups cover 2 school years or play as a Girls only team within the boys/mixed league
