KYSON IS DE MAN FOR COUGARS UNDER8s STRIPES

Buntingford’s Under 8s Stripes entertained Hitchin based Lea Sports on Saturday. Once again from the kick off William Brown looked keen on moving the ball forward and looked determined to make a shot on target. He moved well upfront and although the chances were few and far between in the first few minutes he looked confident. Henry McAllister fought hard for the ball in the middle of the pitch alongside Rubi Pryke and Alfie Perryman whilst Kyson Man played extremely well in defence and made a number of excellent tackles to keep the opposition in check.

Archie Beattie made a number of great saves in goal and worked hard to keep the opposition at bay. In the second half there were a number of impressive passes, McAllister passed to Pryke who then found the feet of Jake Cole and if it wasn’t for the strong Lea Sport defence Cougars could have opened the scoring. Ryan Gasson made a number of impressive runs down the right and Brown continued to push forward but were unable to score. Kyson Man continued to defend well and his sheer determination awarded him this weekend Man of the match.
